Magic, idolatry, spiritual threats

Magic, idolatry, spiritual threats
  • I was a Psychic
  • Converted, Tormented, Courageous
  •

More than four years have passed since the conversion of the author of the above testimony, yet the woman continues to wage a fierce spiritual battle and stands in great need of moral support. Much good has been accomplished in her family. Her daughter has also made a clean break with occult activity and made her confession. Her physical and psychological problems are clearly subsiding. The family radiates peace and joy, despite the hardships and adversities it still faces.

  • When Jesus came to Jacques Verlinde
  • This is the second part to the history of Father Jacques Verlinde’s conversion - a scientist who worked for FNRS (National Fund For Scientific Research) in Belgium. At 21 he opted out of an academic career to be-come a pupil of a Hindu guru and spent a few years in Hindu ashrams.  He returned to Europe and became a devotee of New Age philosophy.  After undergoing conversion he broke with occultism, entered a monastery and became a priest.

  • Saved from the Occult
  • The life of Fr. Jacques Verlinde makes for an exceptionally interesting story. As a young scientist, he worked for the National Fund for Scientific Research (FNRS), one of Belgium’s most famous research institutes. At the age of 21, he abandoned his prospects of a brilliant scientific career and went to study under a Hindu guru.

  • Occultism
  •

Occultism (i.e. any form of divination, astrology, clairvoyance, chiromancy, recourse to spiritist mediums, conjuring up dead spirits, horoscopes, etc.) is a true religion of Satan because all those who practice it do so in clear violation of the First Commandment: “You shall have no other gods before me” (Ex 20:3); “The Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might” (Deut 6:4-5).
  • Astrology and Horoscopes
  • Astrology is a divining practice that dates back to antiquity. It still has deep roots in the culture and customs of our modern paganized societies. Astrology is a superstition. It claims that human life and destiny are influenced by the stars.

  • Divination: or Reading the Future
  •

The practice of divination is based on the conviction that: a) the future of human beings is already laid out and determined; and b) there exist certain techniques of secret knowledge (occult techniques) thanks to which it is possible to foretell the future and gain mastery over it.
  • The Source of Techno Music
  • I am 38 years old, am married to a marvelous woman, and have four children. The story I am about to relate began when I was 13-14 years old. That was when I was introduced to a man called Harris who traveled about Poland posing as a touch healer. Just a couple of sessions with him were enough to start the gradual process of my leaving the Church.

  • The Atlantis Ring: A Diabolic Scenario
  • Those who sell the Atlantis ring assure their buyers that this amulet provides extraordinary protection against all sorts of evils: assault, accidents, theft, as well as curses and spells.
